Sheri Rochford Figgs
Sheri Rochford Figgs had a 32-year career at Fort Lewis College where she served in several roles, including the fund-raising team for the Community Concert Hall and Center of Southwest Studies.
She retired from the college in 2006 and has since held positions as guest services manager at Durango Mountain Resort, executive officer of the Durango Association of REALTORS, executive director of the Durango Arts Center, Resource Specialist at Pueblo Community College and her current role as part-time project coordinator for STEAM Park.
In the past, she was president of the San Juan Symphony, the Durango Education Foundation (formerly DFEE), Community Foundation of Southwest Colorado, and Fort Lewis College Alumni Association. Sheri is an advisory board member to the Durango Arts Center and she has served on numerous non-profit boards and currently serves on the ONE Hundred Club Board of Directors in addition to her duties to the San Juan Symphony. She was selected as Citizen of the Year in 2009 by the Durango Chamber of Commerce.
